Using a neti pot – Nasal irrigation using a neti pot can help to relieve symptoms of nasal polyps, especially those caused by allergies or a sinus infection. In this remedy, a small pot of warm distilled or sterilized salt water is passed through the nasal passages. Stand over a sink, tilt your head sideways, and pass water through one nostril and out of the other. Blow your nose when you finish irrigating both nostrils to remove salt-water.

Steam inhalation – Steam inhalation can help to relieve headaches caused due to sinus inflammation and nasal polyps. You can use steam from water boiled on a stove or take a warm shower or bath to inhale the steam. Using a steam room or humidifier can also be beneficial.

Essential oils – A few essential oils, such as tea tree oil and chamomile, can help reduce inflammation caused due to allergies. Eucalyptus and peppermint oils can work as decongestants and provide relief from symptoms of nasal polyps. You can add a few drops of these to the water being used for steam inhalation, or you can dilute them with water or carrier oil and dab the solution in the nasal passage to help you breathe better.
